Old Dun Leary Road and Crofton Road

This picture, taken in July 2003, shows the new developments in Dun Laoghaire. The DART trains will soon consist of 8 cars following work in January 2004. Note the new design where the three new blocks attempt to minic the projection of existing blocks in the area. As modern architecture I find it convincing but not in the context of the beautiful Georgian houses found in the vicinity of Crofton Road.
