View towards the Loop line bridge and Connolly station. Wynn's Hotel reported a great loss of business during the construction period; this picture of the line works shows why. However, most Dublin businesses made a remarkable recovery when Luas began to operate; custom in the city centre during the first year of operation was up 15%. You can clearly see the trackbed's foundations; the most time-consuming part of this project was to divert the utilities and services.
