A view from Suir Road westwards showing progress on Davitt Road on the Red line during the construction phase. Track has been laid - this section of the line goes parallel to the Grand Canal. This is all new territory to rail - it was somewhat fortunate that there was sufficient space to build a dedicated rail alignment.
