Taken from Ballyogan Road and looking east towards Carrickmines, this view shows work is well advanced on Overbridge 2 taking the Luas Green Line's extension over the M50 motorway for the second time. Slab track is going to be laid, since it gives a smoother ride and is safer. The track joins the original Harcourt Street alignment shortly after crossing the M50, and proceeds along that alignment until close to its proposed terminus at Bride's Glen.
