Rail enthusiasts index | next > Below you will find a link to a directory containing various Dublin Luas movie free clips. The files are medium quality digital movie (DV) edited, comprising a complete 'driver's eye' ride from a Red and Green line tram. I made them to show people living outside Dublin that the Luas trams are quiet, efficient and an effective solution to help solve Dublin's transport problems. They offer a view of modern Ireland and show what may be achieved with good public transport. All clips are in '.MOV' format. These movies are available on DVD providing a continuous cab ride of the Luas Green and Red lines. They were taken in sunshine and film quality is good, even if not professionally shot (judge yourself from the clips). If you are interested in receiving a complete full resolution/TV quality DVD of the complete line rides for EUR 7.50/GBP £5/USD $9.50 per DVD [Paypal or €/£ cheque] including packing but excluding postage (which I'll do at cost/agreed price), contact me] Red Line Tallaght-bound continuous cab ride [filmed 2 December 2006; total journey time is 42 minutes, 39 seconds] WARNING - (a) large file sizes (b) take 30 seconds to over a minute - please be patient
Green Line southbound continuous driver's eye view [filmed 10 June 2005; total journey time is 19 minutes, 34 seconds] [if you are interested in receiving a complete full resolution/TV quality DVD of the complete Green line ride for EUR 7.50/GBP £5/USD $9.50 including packing but excluding postage, contact me]
The remaining files 'luas001...' etc, comprise short clips mainly from the lineside - quality is low resolution since these were taken with a still digital camera with movie facility. Film taken on 31 March 2005:
