Jim Smith's Grand Tour of Northern Ireland: Basalt Columns at the Giant's Causeway
JS: The Giant’s Causeway, coast of northern Antrim, NI. The winds were clocking at 80 mph and I had to wear goggle sunglasses to keep my eyes from vibrating. Horizontal hail came down but the ice cream was great!
Ed: Just a normal day’s weather in Ireland then! Jim timed his shot nicely – a nice bit of sunshine and perfect light. I love the reaction of the child – to adults the Giant’s Causeway is a place of knowledge, history, geography but to a child it is a fantastic playground!
