Bow Lane with the distillery blending with some modern architecture. This has been the location for the distilling of Irish whiskey for a long time; Jamieson is Ireland's best blended whiskey. North of the border the best whiskey is Bushmills - their single malt has no equal in our island. You might notice that the Irish and Scots spell the word 'whiskey' and 'whisky' respectively -we're right and they're wrong!
The image shows the entrance to Jamieson's and is well worth a visit. With the development of the Luas it is easy to find - take the Red line to Smithfield stop. The picture was taken in June 2002.
You can now get the famous Jamieson Green Spot whiskey in the Celtic Whiskey Shop on Dawson Street. Green Spot is not exported and probably one of the best blends available. It is also available from the distillery shop.
